The 4th SMTDA conference will focus on new trends in theory, applications and software of Stochastic Modeling Techniques and Data Analysis. The SMTDA2016 will be held in Valletta, Malta from the 1st to the 4th of June, 2016. SMTDA 2016 is organized by the ASMDA International Society and the University of Malta.
This conference of the IUFRO Unit 4.04.07 (Risk Analysis) will bring together leading experts from the international scientific community to discuss the risks posed to the forest resource by our changing climate, how these risks are perceived and predicted in the forest science and management community, and how risk and uncertainty can be incorporated in the decision-making process to increase the likelihood that the future realized ecosystem services match our stated goals.
This is the last call to submit your abstract for the IUFRO 2015 biennial Forest Landscape Ecology conference on "Sustaining Ecosystem Services in Forest Landscapes". Researchers are invited to submit a paper for an oral presentation to the symposium on “Ecosystem Services and the Need to be Incorporated into Forest Management Practices to Balance Multiple Uses at Different Scales”.
The International Conference on Operations Research (OR2015) is jointly organised by the German, Austrian and Swiss Operations Research Societies. The primary aim of the stream Simulation & Decision Support at OR2015 is to bring together interested people and to discuss the recent developments in these areas. The organizers are particularly interested in contributions on modeling, simulation and decision support in general or in applications using modeling, simulation and decision support systems in real applications. Contributions could be related to

Sustainable Forest Management and Ecosystems Services (code 66f16dc5)
The SSAFR 2015 symposia (16th Symposium for Systems Analysis in Forest Resources) will take place from August 19-21, 2015 in Uppsala, Sweden. It will congregate researchers and practitioners in the area of Operations Research and Systems Analysis in Forest Resources. The symposia are held biannually and have until now taken place in the Americas, mostly in USA. This would be the first time the symposium takes place in Europe. Let it be an opportunity to further strengthen the community worldwide.
The conference "Mountain Forest Management in a Changing World" will provide the opportunity to present and discuss the potentials and limitations of current and possible future approaches to mountain forest management for providing portfolios of ecosystem services under current and future climatic and socio-economic conditions.
Share your experiences, cutting-edge research, development projects, practical applications and theoretical models at the world forest congress in 2015!
The organizers are inviting abstracts on the central theme of the XIV World Forestry Congress, “Forests and People: Investing in a Sustainable Future”, and on relevant topics that also align with any of the six Congress sub-themes:
