I'm working with forestry practitioners in Finland, and also abroad, to bring the tools of quantitative planning from research into practice. At Simosol Oy, a small private company spun off from a university research project, we have a team of 9 persons with both forestry and IT background.
We're developing decision support systems for long-term planning of forest management.
